This Package can be used as a one of or as a continuation of the other packages I offer. This Package has twelve lessons all one hour in duration. Its emphasis is on a more advanced level of English.
Eight of the sessions will cover the four topics I have used previously Communication, Vocabulary, Grammar and Pronunciation.
The final four sessions will be much more free flowing in structure. Here we will use English to discuss and debate complex issues based on current or historical global issues, philosophical arguments or experiences that you have had in your life.
Here are some examples of the type of leaning strategies I will use;
- Communication Skills (examples) Discussing and presenting well supported opinions on current events. Telling stories based on your own experience using vivid detail and emphasis.
- Vocabulary (examples) Learning frequently used word combinations. Learning specific vocabulary that represents the individual student’s area of interest.
- Grammar (examples) Inverting sentences to add emphasis. Using formal grammatical constructions to outline arguments in debates and other scenarios.
- Pronunciation (examples) Emphasising key words in longer sentences. Correcting mispronounced sounds.
These examples only give a snapshot of what I can offer. Each lesson will use whatever is required to target any gaps or weaknesses in your knowledge.
